Fact Sheet
- Trident Wealth Management brings more than 30 years of
investment experience to the task of serving the financial
needs of our clients.
- Trident is a "fee-only" Registered
Investment Advisor whose principal duty is acting
as our client's advocate for managing investments.
- What we do is manage a client's investment risk by carefully
assessing each person's investment objectives and tolerance
for financial risk.
- Trident serves clients on a fully discretionary basis
and, based upon the investment objectives and risk tolerance
of each individual, either selects one or more institutional-quality
money managers to implement investment of your portfolio
or uses our fundamental index model to meet your investment
needs.
- Many of the institutional money managers available to
Trident are not otherwise available to clients on an individual
basis.
- Trident does not sell investment products of any type
or earn commissions from the sale of stocks, bonds, mutual
funds, annuities and insurance or, for that matter, anything
else. Our total focus is representing
our client's best interests at all times.
- Trident often works with a client's other advisers in
the accounting and legal professions to tailor an investment
portfolio to the requirements of each client's tax situation,
estate plan or retirement and income needs.
- By partnering with our custodian, Schwab Institutional
and the team at the Schwab Center for Financial Research,
Trident provides clients with institutional-caliber research,
screening and continuous monitoring
of the money managers or fundamental index funds selected to invest
your assets.
- All assets are held at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
and are titled in the name of each client. Charles Schwab
currently acts as custodian for more than $750 billion of
assets for clients of investment advisors.
- Trident serves client accounts ranging in size from $50,000
to $5,000,000.
- Account minimums for portfolios invested in individual
securities:
o Equity (stock) accounts: $100,000
o Fixed Income (bond) accounts: $250,000
- For portfolios falling below these minimums, but ranging
in size from $50,000 to $100,000, Trident has partnered
with Research Affiliates. LLC, Pacific Investment
Management Company (PIMCO,) and the Schwab Center for
Financial Research to provide access to a selection of
Fundamental Index® portfolios developed by
Research Affiliates, LLC. These low cost index funds
carry four and five star ratings by Morningstar®.

Fees are based upon the market value of the client's portfolio
at the end of each calendar quarter and are automatically
debited from the account.
Portfolios under management for less than a calendar quarter
are prorated for the actual days the assets were managed.
In addition, Trident's fees for equity accounts are established
by "household" so that a client with multiple separately
titled portfolios (i.e., Personal Portfolio plus an IRA and/or
IRA Rollover etc.) can combine the values of each account
in order to realize additional fee savings.
And finally, should you wish to close your account, at Trident
there is never a charge to bring our relationship to conclusion.
Simply notify us in writing and our fee will be prorated up
to and including the date your notification is received.
